Does a stamp overprinted with SPECIMEN have any value related to the stamp without the overprint ?
Thanks for your comments.

bonjour EAGC,
it depends on the stamp and its age. early british commonweath specimen overprints are worth more than the newer issues. some specimen issues are more in numbers than others, so it really depends on the scarcity also. unfortunately, not all catalogs have 'specimens' listed. if you should show an image of your stamps on the philatelic forum, that would help draw increased answers.
bonsoir keyman,
bienvenue a delcampe. i have seen your philatelic renderings on the early austrian stamps and others. very impressive. it is good to have an expert on board. and a distinguished one as yourself. we can include the u.s. issues among the rare 'specimen' overprints too.
