Payment not requested yet ?     Mon 2nd Jun 2008 12:27:47

I have made 16 transactions now. 4 or 5 of the sellers do not mark the square which says "payment requested". Why is that? Are they bypassing the rules? I am paying them anyway and clicking my portion which says "payment sent". I can't say that they are inexperienced because the last seller I paid had over 15,000 transactions on here and did'nt mark the square. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Thanks

Perhaps he doesn't think that ticking 30,000 squares (payment sent and item sent) is a good use of his time.

Actually the Americans were the rebels and we were the Loyalists. We Canadians got our independance too! It just took a couple hundred years to achieve it. Look up the detail for the Rebellion of 1837. We praise our British heritage here. My uncle proved that in WW1 and my cousin proved it in WWII. They both fought against bullies and tyrants and their grandchildren stand ready to do the same. We have Canadian troops dying in Afganistan as we speak. We can't undo what our ancestors have done, but can stand against those who would oppress women and children in the name of religion or riches.

See you soon, MrSauga

Sorry ! My failing brain must have remembered the map of North America but forgotten or not realised where you are on it.

Canadian contributions on the world stage are much appreciated. You are like the new Switzerland only with teeth.

I have always tried to point out to US people that you other Americans enjoy just as much "liberty", perhaps even more, than they do, as also the Australians and New Zealanders. But they will have their mythology.

One of them might well say that his uncles and cousins fought in WWI and II as well, though perhaps not for quite so long ....

Why don't you speak French ?

George is my GG Grandfather showing 5 battle honours. He helped defeat Napoleon 200 years ago. That's why I'm not speaking French.

Well, England had something to do with defeating Napoleon too, but this doesn't mean that nobody can speak French. It's a good thing that not everybody thinks like you. Canada is supposed to be a bilingual country, and people even learn German, you know.
