Item description:

Arts Written and Illustrated By Van Loon. Unique original drawing on front free-endpaper and author inscription to "Perri Lenni, her book" signed & dated "12/10 XXXVII [Oct. 12, 1937]. No dust jacket; front & back hinges split; spine shaken. Text is unmarked; minimal soil spots on a few pages; paper is yellowing. Charming drawing of a troubadour wearing a yellow coat, playing beneath a window, a red rose in the air tossed to him.
